Living your Job dreams
Syed Adfar Rashid Shah
Suddenly we hear that jobs have been advertised and there is 99% probability of getting selected. Inherent within the human spirit is the desire for fulfillment, a longing to carry out our aspirations by reaching new heights of accomplishment.Streams of thought and flood of ideas comes to mind about future planning.
Joy of getting a job comes with a strange feeling, cheerful smile, and contentment and of course peace of inner self. The feeling of getting a good job is not just a moment’s joy but a solace for all times to come as we begin to develop priorities instantly.
This joy and surety of getting a good job also reminds us of those jobless moments and days when we used to set deadlines to our own selves and make an imaginative world of ours. We used to give extensions to life in belief that good days are coming ahead.
Simply spent more time in enjoyment and merry making, deeming that after getting a job worries will come to an end. Again, this joy of getting a job reminds us of those jobless days when we were needy, deficient, demanding, with limited pocket money, limited bus fair, few dresses.
How can we forget those days when we were out of pocket? No fashionable shoes, no money to repair our cycles or to go to hatrick, bla, bla, bla
How can one forget that yearnings and sufferings?
Sometimes annoyed with parents over pocket money or feeling ignored and uncared; sometimes crying for picnic expenditures or school trips.
Then we use to say ourselves that job days will be the best times for us to come. We will be able to fulfill our all dreams.
One feels that job will bring joys in our life so much so that we no longer have to work under pressure and strain our brains.
Hope of a job fosters in us thoughts of making alterations in our views, ideology, appearances, language; conversation temper etc. There is innate feeling to upgrade ourselves. We feel to develop a jobly grin and a different look.
We begin to think of our new identity and feel that job can make a difference to our life. We feel it will raise our spirits and build our confidence. We feel that society is finally going to call us for contribution. We credit ourselves and begin to evaluate our achievements.
The one inevitable way you won't make your dreams a reality is by ignoring them. To bring them into actuality, one simply needs to step out and begin living them. There are no magical answers and no formulas prescribed with guarantees. There are only opportunities. However, the fact remains that getting a job has always been tough in the past few years. Now students can consider themselves lucky if the recruitment process does not work at snail’s pace.
